Welcome to the 2021 ProPrint Awards

What started out as the Power 50 ten years ago has now evolved into a comprehensive award recognising not only the industry leaders, but also its rising stars, suppliers and industry veterans.

POWER 50

Welcome to the new look Power 50. In response to industry feedback, the ProPrint team has tweaked the Power 50 so now only the top 20 nominated industry leaders will be ranked in this 100% peer-voted award – everyone else will be acknowledged in alphabetical order at the ProPrint Awards in Sydney in November and in the December issue of ProPrint magazine. You can nominate more than one person and it is also possible to have more than one Power 50 nominee from the same company. Self nominations are also accepted. This is a peer-voted award so all nominees will have the opportunity to judge. The results will be verified by an external auditor, PKF International.

EMERGING 50

The ProPrint Emerging 50 recognises the industry’s rising stars. Emerging 50 nominees include graphic designers, prepress operators, production assistants, postpress supervisors and finishing specialists as well as employees responsible for distribution, sales, administration and account management with approximately five years or less experience working in the industry. Recipients of the Emerging 50 will be judged on the quality and the detail provided within their submission and the supplementary materials provided. It is possible to nominate more than one person and it is also possible to have more than one Emerging 50 recipient from the same company. Self nominations are accepted.

Emerging 50 nominees also have the opportunity to apply for a 12-month mentorship prize in partnership with The Real Media Collective which includes a $1000 voucher for a short course with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). Other inclusions in the mentorship prize are complimentary entry in The Real Media Awards ‘Best Emerging Talent’ category and access to all The Real Media Collective events, awards and industry sessions. The Mentorship prize is judged by an industry panel.

All Emerging 50 recipients will be acknowledged in alphabetical order at the ProPrint Awards in Sydney in November and in the December issue of ProPrint magazine.

SUPPLIER 50

Over the years we have often been asked if those working for suppliers could be included in the Power 50, so we have decided to create a Supplier 50 category for those that service the industry. The Supplier 50 recognises those who go over and above to help print businesses flourish. Supplier 50 recipients will be judged on the quality of the award submission based on their achievements over the last 12 months. There is no overall winner of the Supplier 50 – all recipients will be acknowledged in alphabetical order at the ProPrint Awards in Sydney in November and in the December issue of ProPrint magazine. It is possible to nominate more than one person and it is also possible to have more than one Supplier 50 nominee from the same company. Self nominations are accepted.
