In 2024, the ProPrint Awards have celebrated its 14th year as the most comprehensive annual awards evening celebrating the print and packaging industries.
Recognising not only print industry leaders but also emerging stars, suppliers, industry legends, and outstanding contributions in sustainability through the Sustainability Award.
The ProPrint Awards are brought to you by the talented teams at Charted Media Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of The Intermedia Group, the publisher of ProPrint and Australian Printer magazines, as well as ProPack.Pro.
- Recognising senior print industry leaders for over a decade.
- A peer-voted award independently audited.
- The top 25 leaders are ranked, and the remaining 25 leaders will be announced at the ProPrint Awards alphabetically.
- It is possible to self-nominate or nominate more than one person.
- All winners will be announced at the ProPrint Awards and published in the December 2024 issue of ProPrint.
- Recognising rising stars in the print industry with around five years of industry experience.
- Nominees include graphic designers, prepress operators, production, postpress, distribution, sales, administration & account management.
- All winners will be announced alphabetically at the ProPrint Awards and published in the December 2024 issue of ProPrint.
- Recognising individuals who service and supply the print industry, representing or working for associations, service providers, lobby groups, trade show organisers, as well as equipment and consumable suppliers.
- Now in its third year.
- Self-nominations are accepted, and it is possible to nominate more than one person.
- Recipients are judged on the quality of their submission based on achievements over the past 12 months.
- All winners will be announced alphabetically at the ProPrint Awards and published in the December 2024 issue of ProPrint.
- An exclusive award honouring an industry legend with over 25 years of experience.
- Now in its third year.
- The winner will have made a significant contribution to the industry beyond their own business.
- The winner is judged by the 2023 Printer 50 Top Ten and Platinum Sponsor, Durst Oceania.
- The winner will be announced at the ProPrint Awards and published in the December 2024 issue of ProPrint.
- A company that is undertaking sustainable practices within their organisation, using sustainable materials or has achieved specific sustainability benchmarks or improvements over the last 12 months.
- This award can be presented to either a printer or a supplier as well as a third party organisation working closely with the printing industry.
- Nominees must present examples of their sustainability initiatives for judging.
- Geoff Selig was the former executive chairman of IVE Group, and at the 2023 ProPrint Awards he was recognised with the peer-voted Industry Achievement Award for service to the industry. He was the third-generation from the Selig family in the IVE Group business and was a pioneer and innovator of the industry for over 40 years. Geoff tragically passed away earlier this year and this Scholarship is dedicated to Geoff’s passion for encouraging emerging talent within the industry, and his desire to see people grow and thrive as well as the enjoyment he received from seeing people develop and succeed.
- This Scholarship has been created to recognise one of the recipients from the 2024 ProPrint Awards Emerging 50 and provides a financial value of up to $10,000 for personal and professional development and will be funded jointly by ProPrint and the IVE Group.
- The winner of this year’s Geoff Selig Scholarship was required to answer three questions based on how the financial award will improve themselves, their employer and the industry as a whole.
